As you all may know, since a while we are based in Canggu. We absolutely love our neighbourhood , however of course being every day in the same place sometimes gets boring. And like everyone else we like to treat ourself with a “weekend getaway” from time to time. Just to recharge batteries, relax a bit, and enjoy nicer standards than the ones we have at home 🙂 ! This time we’ve decided to visit Amnaya Hotels & Resorts in Kuta. And I am gonna tell you – wow! This place is soo impressive! We honestly didn’t expected t h a t high service! This hotel officialy has 4* but in my opinion easily should get 5* without any shade of a doubt! Starting with a veeery professional (and so friendly!) service who was always willing to help when we needed them! And yep, we are this kind of annoying guests calling the reception hundreds times a day😅. So well done guys! Our room was gorgeous! Very spacious, with a terrace (and sort of a bed outside!), and what’s the most important for me – outstanding bathroom! Just have a look on the pictures below and you will understand my enthusiasm. Bathroom wasn’t separated from the room and had all the glass „walls” around it. However, when we needed a bit more of the privacy we were simply covering the curtains. All very glamorous and practical at the same time. Another important part of the hotel was – the pool! Oh how good is to jump into refreshing water during hot days! That’s also something we don’t have in our daily life (shame! 🙁 ). After an exhausting swim day we knew only one direction to go – restaurant. Sukun Restaurant serves the best indonesian food we had a chance to try so far! Just imagine how happy was boyfriend, goodbye diet! Especially that I am not the best chef, so no fancy dishes at home :P. We were eating there all our meals as I didn’t believe we could find anything better around! Great quality, beautiful presentation and of course – ah, the taste! We made to try one of the most traditional indonesian dishes – Megibung and it was amazing! Daily breakfast was also very nice, a lá carte, always served with a basket of bread & pastries and fresh fruit platter. Well… did I skip something? Whether you are or not a big SPA fan you would (and will if you go!) fall in love with their Bhava SPA! What a blast we had there! I honestly felt like one the honeymoon! We went for the Royal Palace Ceremony – 2,5 hours long treatment… Trust me, it was a neverending pleasure! Feet massage, body massage, body scrub, facial… oh I can’t even remember all the ceremonies we had but I am sure at some point I was full of yoghurt and honey, yummy! 😀 Which in fact works greaf on nourishing our skin! But still the best was the end. When we thought that nothing better can happen to us they’ve invited us for a romantic bath in flowers petals… <3 Relax there (with a delicious cookie in one hand and a ginger tea in another) was this sort of feeling everyone needs to try in their life, absolutely more than once! So yeah, the plan has worked, we came back home with huge smiles on our faces, smoother skin and… full bellies :P.
I truly wish everyone a weekend like that, it’s so important to sometimes get a break from the hustle and find a moment for relax. Get out of the city, treat yourself with a SPA, go for a run in the forest, have a long walk on the beach with your partner, watch the sunset. Just reset your busy brain and clear your mind :). Results are guaranteed and visible immediately! 🙂
Peace & Love,
Agnieszka
